Dear Fellow Celiacs,
My name is Larry Schneider. Bill Eyl and I serve you as the Member-at-Large and Region Director, respectively, for CSA Region VI, which includes Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Guam and Wake island. We are here to amplify your voice in CSA.
CSA’s membership, nearly 10,000 strong, is comprised of people just like you, and is increasing in region VI and all over the country. CSA is built by volunteers, “Celiacs Helping Celiacs”. With your help and that of the national office, I believe we, in Region VI can do more of this to:
- Raise awareness of Celiac Disease and Dermatitis Herpetiformis.
- Increase CSA membership.
- Help more Celiacs become diagnosed.
YOU CAN HELP!!
Spread the news about CSA by distributing the enclosed press release. Print as many copies of it as you need. Distribute it to as many of your local TV, radio, newspaper and magazine outlets as you can. Use the enclosed Steps to Secure Press Coverage to help guide you.
Also enclosed is a label, which says “I did! You should!”. This is a memory tool that can be used as you spread the word for CSA or the CSA Foundation. When people ask what YOU did, your response can be: “I joined CSA” or “I donated to CSA” or “I spread the word”. It can be fun and will benefit CSA and all celiacs – both diagnosed and undiagnosed.
Together as Celiacs we can help other Celiacs. Bill and I cannot do this alone and with your generous support we will do our part to help CSA in 2005.
