19th Annual Digestive Disease National Coalition

Public Policy Forum and Institutional Member Forum

March 8th and 9th, 2009

Phoenix Park Hotel in Washington, DC

In March, more than 75 patients and physicians from across the country traveled to Washington, DC for the 19th Annual Digestive Disease National Coalition (DDNC) Public Policy Forum and Institutional Member Forum. The two day event featured briefings from digestive health experts and advocacy activities on Capitol Hill, including 11 representatives of the celiac community.

 

Attending the forum on behalf of CSA and celiacs were Diane Eve Paley, AACSA Foundation president and DDNC treasurer; her husband Norm; Mark Bogdany; Diane Craig; David Sands, PhD; Tom Sullivan, former CSA president; Winnie Feldman- Lindauer; Cindy Montgomery; Kaitlyn Montgomery; Alice Gundin. and Mary Schluckebier, CSA Executive Director.
