Celiacs Helping Celiacs

Advocate/Mentor

As "Celiacs Helping Celiacs," CSA is a collection of concerned individuals, doing what we can to increase awareness of CD/DH and to advocate for those living a gluten-free lifestyle. Please take a moment and see how you can join the effort and help spread the word.

Ways for you to advocate for celiac disease:

  • Write a Letter to a Food Manufacturer or a Letter to a Drug Manufacturer explaining your need for expanded ingredient labeling.

Become a mentor to newly diagnosed individuals by :
  • Offering to help them navigate the local grocery stores and food marts.
  • Invite a them to your local CSA chapter meetings.
  • Share your old CSA Gluten-Free Product Listing with newly diagnosed, libraries and medical centers.

Participate in CSA-PEP:

The CSA Celiac Disease and Gluten Sensitivity Physician Education Program (CSA-PEP) was launched in 2009. CSA-PEP is a comprehensive education program with a goal of increasing rate of assessment, diagnosis and treatment of celiac disease and gluten sensitivity in the United States by compiling a comprehensive set of educational materials on celiac disease and delivering this information to 70,000 physicians and medical students by the year 2012.
